To transfer an account to a new owner, follow the steps below based on whether they’re already a team member:
Option 1: New owner is not yet a team member
- Log in to your Crazy Egg account.
- Go to My Account → Manage Account → Change Email.
- Enter the new owner’s email address and save.
- Share your account password with them so they can log in.
Option 2: New owner is already a team member
- Ask your colleague (the new owner) to log in and go to My Account → Manage Account → Change Email.
- They should update their email address by prefixing it with
D_
. Example:support@crazyegg.com
→D_support
- Once they’ve saved that change, go to your own My Account → Manage Account → Change Email.
- Enter the colleague’s original email address (e.g.
support@crazyegg.com
) and save. - Share your password with them so they can access the account under their email.
