With Crazy Egg Surveys, you can choose from 3 types of questions.
- Multiple Choice --> both single and multiple select,
- Text --> Short, Long, or Email.
- Ratings --> stars, numeric, emoji, and NPS.
Multiple-choice questions
Single-Select will provide radio button choices, and only one answer can be picked. If more than five choices are given, then the choices will be a drop-down, and only one answer can be picked.
Multi-Select will provide checkbox choices, and one or more answers can be picked. If more than five choices are given, the choices will be a drop-down, and multiple answers can be picked.
Text questions
Can have short, long, or email options.
Short answers will provide a narrow text field area for the responses.
Long answers will provide a wider text field area for the responses.
Email answers will provide an input field that we automatically validate for email addresses.
Rating questions
There are four options under this type of question -- Stars, Numeric, Emoji, or Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Stars rating gives a 1-5 star choice to your question.
Numeric rating gives a 0-10 choice to your question. You can customize the minimum and maximum values.
Emoji rating gives a sad to happy choice to your question.
NPS (Net Promoter Score) asks participants how likely they are to recommend your product/service as an indicator of loyalty and satisfaction with your brand. The rating gives a 0-10 choice to your question.
