WordPress Installation Guide – Crazy Egg

WordPress is a free content management system that allows you to build websites. We created a plugin so you can easily install Crazy Egg on your WordPress website.

Note: If you are using a cache plugin on your site, you will need to clear it after you have installed your Crazy Egg code.

WordPress Installation - Step by Step

Here is a recommended process to help you get started.

Step 1: From your WordPress backend, click on Plugins located on the left hand.

Step 2: Click on Add New.

Step 3: Search for Crazy Egg in the search field located to the right-hand side.

Step 4: Click on the Install Now button for Crazy Egg.

Step 5: Once installed, the button will change to Activate. Click on this button.

Step 6: Now locate Crazy Egg on the menu located on the left-hand side (black menu).

Step 7: Copy and paste the Crazy Egg tracking script into the Your Tracking Script input field.

Step 8: Click on the Save Changes button.

That's it, you have successfully installed the script on your WordPress site.

Note: If you are using a cache plugin on your site, you will need to clear it now in order for the site to fully update with the changes.
